Hi Patricia,

I completely hear you.  Unfortunately, my customers are glued to CNN, Fox News and the likes.  Never mind irritating actual statistics ?  I saw some lady from (the web site) Zillow recently on absolutely dogging our industry.  No actual facts given, of course.  Did you happen to see it ?

I should have wrote them an e-mail, "Oh, thanks for more recession !"  They didn't get anyone from our National Association of Realtors," with some tangible statistics.

People will eventually look back at the bottom; is this it?

My personal opinion ... I don't think we're on the bottom yet but I think we are getting close in many markets.  We are starting to sporadically see better monthly housing numbers which I believe is the beginning indicator that prices, even though they have some more room to drop in some markets, are beginning to stabilize.

As Clark states, too many people are simply listening to the news ("info-tainment) and not doing their homework.  If you are a buyer looking to purchase a property and expect to be in that property for the next 3-5 years, this is the time (high inventory levels, low rates, and little competition).

Very good news - we are seeing many signs a bottom per se is near.... can certainly see it in the homebuilder stocks - they had great days today by the way.
